The Barn

Forgot batteries? Need ice or firewood? Then the barn is the place for you.

The barn is the first landmark you’ll see when you arrive at Kingswood. Open during the day, you can restock on ice and propane and visit the camp store. On a rainy day, you can take shelter and solve a puzzle or play volleyball and basketball upstairs. Visit our nature corner, where you can learn more about the animals you may encounter at Kingswood, or relax with a book from our library.

The barn is also where you’ll meet at on Tuesdays at 6 for a potluck, hand-cranked ice cream making, and for hey-rides. It’s also where you can sign up for camp activities, like On Site Insights, Hay Rides and Stone Ministry.

The barn was built in 1933, and has been through several renovations and restorations since then. You can find nails, buttons and screws from years ago. Learn more about the history of the barn and farmhouse here.
